Previous exhibitions/projects: James joined the Studio group in 2009 and had taken to it like a duck to water. He initially created a serious of religious works based on some of the old masters he greatly admires. The work has now developed into series from his rural background, such as images of farming, hunting and country life. James was awarded a bursary, for the purchase of materials, including high quality colouring pencils, which he discovered as more suitable. James is a very diligent worker creating large detailed pieces using a mixture of colour layering and blending. In 2009 James was awarded a Bursary from Wexford County Council to develop his work and get specialised Materials.
