Previous exhibitions/projects: George"s work was shown in exhibitions in the: Butler Gallery, Kilkenny; Garter Lane Arts Centre, Waterford; Wexford Arts Centre; Freight Gallery, Fremantle (AUS); çras ƒanna; Burren College of Art; Lamont Gallery, New Hampshire (USA); Jennings Gallery, UCC; AXIS, Ballymun and in many other places. George completed outdoor sculptural commissions for the Irish Music Hall of Fame and Castalia Hall, and large mosaics for Dean Street Medical Centre, Kilkenny and Camphill Community Ballytobin. George participated in a sculpture symposium early on in his career as an artist and was an ambassador for inclusive arts, speaking at conferences in Ireland and abroad. A retrospective exhibition of his work was held in KCAT in 2014 as part of the Abhainn R’ Festival.
